Read a Christmas book
Today, the girls got candy canes, and not just any candy cane, these had bubble gum in them (the girls loved them!) and while they ate them (yes, first thing this morning) we read, The Legend of the Candy Cane. That book led to other Christmas books being read. It was such a nice way to spend the morning before jumping into our "get ready for school" mode.
Christmas color: Purple (Storm Cloud)
Scriptures: Genesis 6:5-8; 7:13-16
One of the sentence in the book says: Noah and the creatures of the world would be saved according to God's plan, but first they had to wait in the dark ark until life could be restored. The wait for God's gift, Jesus, was worth the wait too.

Where on earth did you find candy canes with gum in them?!? And why haven't you answered my question about this mystery Christmas color book?
