Ta-da

my new smile
i'm amazed at how great it looks.  dr miler was right, with braces he could get my smile perfect.
he straightened my teeth, widened my smile, fixed my over bite and then shaped my front gums to make my teeth look bigger.
smile. perfect.
well almost, he is still working on a little gap with my retainer. ;o)

here's what my smile looked like during my brace face stage

and here's my smile before

i wasn't self conscious of smile before, just ask anyone, i loved to snort and smile but now
I really love to snort and smile.

i love you mom and dad, thanks for my new beautiful smile!

Insta-Friday::VBS

It was a buggy week,
full of learning about our BIG God and how he transforms us.

Kelly and I were in the craft room again this year.
I love getting to see all the kids
and I really love that so many of the friends I went to church with in high school!
bring their kids back to our church for VBS.
That is something special.
Helping out during VBS is a lot of work,
let me say that again, a lot of work
(so much work that when your craft is a complete di-sas-ter you just want to cry)
BUT all you do that week is so worth it!
Especially when you hear a child came to know Jesus as their personal savior!
Yep, it was all worth it

Toothless Wonder(s)

My youngest child has done it again.
She always seems to amaze me.
This time it is with teeth.
She has pulled out 2 of her teeth all on her own and they weren't just hanging in their by a thread when she decided to do this, it took some work but she was determined and got it done.
I love her new gappy grin.

I started this post yesterday but was needing to snap a picture of the said gappy grin girl
and guess what happened right after I got my pic of Ash?
Abigail pulled out her tooth,
a loose tooth she didn't even know she had until the dentist told her on Wednesday.
My girls, the amazing tooth puller outers!

Then as the evening continued, Ryan pulled out his tooth too!

Father's Day Recap

Father's day was the last day of J's 10 day vacation.
It has been so nice having him home with us this past week.

For his special day we
went to church
ate lunch at Baja Fresh
took him miniature golfing
swam at the pool
and grilled steak and potatoes for dinner

This was our first time miniature golfing with the girls.  The last time J and I went was when we first started dated, 12 years ago.  The girls had lots of fun.  Ash got 2 holes in one.  And I'm thankful we didn't keep score, I'm sure it would of showed I lost.

The girls sure do love their dad and I couldn't have asked for a better a father for my children.
Thanks for all that you do for us J, we love you!
