scratch that

So, all along (when we were discussing what we'd be for Halloween) Abigail kept going back and forth between a mom (easy) or a soccer player (easier).  There at the end she decided to be a soccer player.  Great.  Friday she dressed up for school as a soccer player, Saturday she dressed up as a soccer player (this time because she really was one, she had a game), we went to Cody's birthday party as a soccer player and then when we got home to change Ash for a Halloween party, Abigail was soccer player-ed out.  Now, she wanted to be a mom.  Great.

Great {EXCEPT} that her 2010 Halloween pictures were of her as a soccer player not a mom. So, what was this mom to do ... re-take the pictures in a hurried fashions since we were probably already going to be late for the Halloween party and now we really would be!

After our fun friends party we decided to stop by my sister and mom's house to and do some early trick-or-treating, but both houses had ZERO Halloween candy. Can you believe it? Abigail had questioned this as we were driving over, but I assured her that they would, hello it's the night before Halloween.  My sister did sweetly search for some mints to give the girls and when we got to my mom's, guess what she offered to go find ... yep, mints.  Regardless of the candy situation, it was fun to show off the girls all dressed up in their costumes!

So, last night I ended up taking out the cutest mom and most adorable rock star you've ever seen and we came home with lots of candy!

Oh now don't start blaming your promptness issues on your daughters. We've known you way too long to buy into that excuse! :)
That's really funny that your mom & your sister gave them mints! Next year they'll be prepared!

Yeah even my Luke knows not to expect them to be on time, so sad. Funniest comment of the night trick or treating is when Luke said to Amanda, Why do you always laugh like that (and then proceeded to imitate her laughing). Poor Amanda getting picked on....we love or have learned to love everything about you!

That is funny that both Andrea and your parents gave the girls mints! At least they found something right?! Glad you all had a great Halloween :)

You must have a nice little area near by your house w/a bridge and Riverbirch???
